Open Arms Hispanic Ministry is pleased to announce the selection of a new Executive Director. Pablo Delgado will assume this role on August 1, 2023, carrying on the legacy of the Tadeo and Nunes families in ministering to the needs of Hispanics in Northeast Ohio. Open Arms is a Christ-centered nonprofit that exists “…to welcome, accompany, and partner with Latino immigrants in building a safe and sustainable life.”
Originally from Costa Rica, Pablo is married to Chanel from Washington State, and is the proud father of one-year old Asher. Pablo has a Master’s degree in pastoral ministry and a Master’s degree in business. He brings eleven years of experience as a translator for medical and legal agencies, as well as sermons and evangelical outreaches. Both Pablo and the board see God’s hand at work in bringing him to us at just the right time. He has already shown his commitment to Latino immigrants, serving Open Arms over the past six months as a community outreach worker. Our prayers and support are with him and his family as he steps into Haroldo Nunes’s large shoes.
We are deeply grateful to Haroldo Nunes for his 17 years of service to Open Arms, and wish him God’s richest blessings as he moves to Florida to be closer to family.
